The Only Way They'll Know: Love One Another

Lately, I've been wrestling with what it truly means to be a Jesus follower, especially when observing the current climate among Christians online. Is it possible that we are so focused on being right or being loud that we're missing the single, defining mark of discipleship?

We dive into John 13:35—the commandment Jesus gave His disciples just hours before His betrayal and arrest: "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

We explore what love one another meant in the Upper Room and what it means for us today. We challenge the mindset "It's just me and God" by looking at Peter's passionate but misguided pledge to die for Jesus (John 13:36-38).

This episode is a call to broaden our definition of love from being sweet or hospitable to being truly sacrificial—slowing down, listening intentionally, and being willing to be uncomfortable for the comfort of others (John 15:12-13).

Let's be known by our love.
